Youri Tielemans has revealed he is unhappy with Unai Emery as he hardly gets a chance to play for Aston Villa. Despite having only started the season in just 4 games in the Premier League.

The Belgian international star moved from Leicester to Villa on a free transfer in the summer that just closed.

But the 26-year-old midfielder has started just one game for his new club this season. It was the first game of the Conference League Cup against Hibernian. UFABET  This is a game where there is no pressure. After the first match, Villa came out on top 5-0.

Now Tielemans, who is in the Belgian national team camp for Saturday’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Azerbaijan. Insists he is less than impressed with the lack of opportunities at Villa Park.

Belgian media outlet DH reported that Tielemans said: “The situation is not satisfactory. I told the manager [Emery] that I came to Villa to play. He understands me. But now he prefers using the two midfielders from last season.”

“He told me that soon the games would come and I would have more opportunities to play. I know this answer won’t help me. But what should I do? Whenever there’s an opportunity, I want to take it. So far, I’ve started 1 game in the Conference League.”
